Welfare Culture and Arts Festival IN Taieji Temple (Welfare Symposium, Band Performance, Exhibition and Sales) 2025 / Report

With the main hall of Taieji Temple and the lodging house as the venue, we held the Welfare Culture and Arts Festival on November 2 (Sun) and 3 (Mon, holiday).
Participation was made by the Ise City Council of Social Welfare Futami Kobo Somin, Yokkaichi City Council of Social Welfare and the exhibition and sale of works and works of the Ise Hometown Association, and there was more sales than expected. (I gave all the sales.) )

・I exhibited the works of Ise Kamebell Association, Shinogien, Special Nursing Home Futami Garden, and Mie Jibi Gakuin.
Thank you for coming to the exhibition.

We provided a place for activities and a place for people to gather for everyone's works.

And what stands out is that the moon-viewing work that matches this season while using newspaper was made for this day by the Ise Kamereikai. I think there was a difficult creative process. Thank you very much for providing a wonderful work.

On the 2nd, the first part of the special lecture (13:00 ~ 14:30 on the 2nd, the main hall)
Masanori Hosoe, Director of NPO Tomoni Isle Facility
Former newspaper reporter and support for social participation of people with mental disabilities. He is actively active in the "NHK Special Death Discharge" Takiyama Hospital Discharge Support Liaison Council, and this lecture explained the current situation and issues in the society of people with mental disabilities, his own efforts, and the possibility of temples as expectations for temples.

Part 2: Symposium(Aiming for a society that supports each other)(2nd Japan, Speaker)
・Taieji Temple (Shingon Buddhism) Abbot Mr. Miyama Nagata (Chairman of the Mie Gonyukai)
・Jokuji Temple (Jodo sect) Abbot Toshiki Hirai (President of the Mie Prefecture Social Welfare Association)
・Toshunji Temple (Rinzai sect) Abbot Soizumi Fukano (Chairman of Yamaguchi Nursery School)
・Taieji Temple Monk Kenji Hoshino (Mental Health Worker)
・(Yes)Wellnet 21 representative Rei Iya (certified social worker)
The other speakers also gave lectures full of consistent social support and deep insights. In addition, he came all the way from Yamaguchi with the partner of the speaker, Chief Minister Fukano and the chief priest of Kishu Inunomaru. (He came with me by car.) I am sorry that I have caused a burden. The person who came out in the story, a former nurse, wanted to live out his life at the temple, and I was able to get acquainted with the abbot of Fukano, whom he did not know, and the abbot himself was supported at the temple, and I sympathized with him that it was a support that was actively and in the true sense of the word, such as going on a drive with the abbot. )

All the performers volunteered to take the stage.
As the initiator, I spoke from the standpoint of a mental health worker and a monk. Viktor Frankl is the founder of logotherapy (existential analysis) (born in Vienna, Austria. Jewish psychiatrist 1905~1997) He published his experiences in Nazi concentration camps and became known to many people. And I talked about logotherapy and Buddhism. Frankl's {Mental personality itself cannot get sick. "Behind mental illness, even in the eyes of psychiatrists, there is almost (unclearly) a serious mental personality." Frankl was regarded as a tenet of psychiatry. }While utilizing the theory of logotherapy from an existential standpoint, I tried to provide theoretical support not only at the emotional level, but also with the passion and motivation of the welfare field. In addition, I talked about the "ontological proof of God and Buddha" that can be used indirectly in the field, only from the standpoint of realism and from a monk's point of view.

It resonated with the purpose of the lecture, and it was a meaningful and fruitful lecture and symposium. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the speakers and many volunteers here. Thank you very much.

3On Sundays (Saturdays and holidays 13:30~), Yui Music Village. The performance of the band and rehabilitation gymnastics were performed at the main hall of Taieji Temple. His own songs and requested songs from visitors were also improvised. The members are active as volunteers, and members such as the judiciary (lawyer) and welfare and Matsuzaka City's representative Tomome Tonomura also participate as members. In addition, they are cheerful members who are active in rehabilitation gymnastics "Thank You" and other topics on TV. This time, Mr. Miyamoto and his friends were unable to borrow drum equipment due to the holidays, and although they declined this time, they contacted us that they were looking forward to the next time.

Mr. Rei Iya was supported as the secretary general of the Welfare Culture and Arts Festival, so I presented a "letter of appreciation" from Taieji Temple.

Finally, the monk Gyoki of Taieji Temple was a person who had been energetically devoted to social welfare. I also have a place where I resonate with that spirit, and I would like to continue to act so that I can help everyone in the future, albeit in a small way. In addition, as a temple rooted in the community, Taieji Temple has set up a place where everyone can enjoy it widely while valuing connections with local welfare workers and local people.
Thank you very much.
