The main deity of this mountain is Senju Kannon Bodhisattva, and it can be said that the "compassion" inherent in Buddhism and the mercy of Kannon are generally poured down as mercy. When you can feel the presence of Jiyu through your heart, you will feel a sense of intimidation and gratitude. At that time, our way of life will become better and we will be able to do self-interest and altruism. And in Shitennoji Temple, founded by Prince Shotoku, it is said that a welfare facility called Sada-in was built for the first time in Japan. It can be seen from a long history that Buddhist ideas and welfare ideas have an affinity. In addition, this mountain is said to have been founded by Gyogi. Gyoki has set up a free lodging place called "Fuseya", and has the face of a religious person who practices mercy. And through Tanabata, the Tanabata Festival, which began with the hope of being useful for community welfare, is also in its second year in earnest, and I hope that you will agree with the idea of Buddhist welfare. I would appreciate it if you could put your thoughts on Tanabata and make memories.
It is a special day when you can touch the string tied to the wrist of the Honzon Sente Kannon-sama once a year (knotted string).

Prior to the prayer day, a strip of paper is set up at the reception desk of the temple grounds, so please stop by and write your wish on the strip when you visit. You can write the strips of paper that will be displayed in the precincts free of charge.

If you wish to pray individually, we will pray in the main hall by appointment for 1 hour per person.

Notice of Tanabata Festival Special Music Performance
We will deliver nostalgic songs and original songs that you all know. The performers are Yui Music Village and others: 20 o'clock ~ about 40 minutes after the memorial service on July 7 of Tanabata
This time, there will be a special guest appearance, and local students will appear, so please look forward to it.
The free location is scheduled for the main hall of Taieji Temple or the large hall of the lodging house.
Yui Music Village is a music unit that was born after creating a theme song and rehabilitation gymnastics at a national competition for welfare officials, and everyone is having fun working together as a hobby.
We plan to perform original songs and songs that everyone has heard.
Each member has a unique lineup, including qualified welfare and judicial personnel and city councilors.
Please come and listen to the performance. We also perform rehabilitation exercises. Please join us.
