At Toba Kenjin Kannonji Temple, I held a flower festival with everyone of the 2nd Toba City Aozora Nursery School. April 4, Reiwa 8 It is currently operated as a temple managed by Taieji Temple. In front of the Jizo in the precincts of Kannonji Temple, which has a relationship with Kobo Daishi Kukai, we held a flower festival. This flower festival continues with a strange fate. The relationship began when the teachers told me about "Kasa Jizo" at the nursery school and actually came to see Jizo at Kannonji Temple. I was talking about it when I was pulling grass, and later I had the opportunity to do a paper play of "Kasa Jizo" in front of Mr. Jizo. Then, a little before April 8th, the previous principal contacted me to ask if I was holding a flower festival, and I replied that I would try somehow, and I cut cherry blossoms and flowers and offered flowers to everyone as I did last year, just like this year. In addition, in the story of the birth of the Buddha, "There is a petal that falls from the sky in admiration, and since it is as precious as the Buddha, I scattered the petals over everyone's heads in the same way. I wanted it to be a memory, so I made it an experiential puja. Jizo and Buddha I am explaining to everyone that you took a picture of the flower festival puja from behind I am holding flowers and walking in front of the Buddha I am pouring water instead of sweet tea You are putting your hands together with warm eyes You are pouring water instead of sweet tea 2 I am scattering the petals of fresh flowers above my head At the end, a group photo (I presented one red stamp with the words "Flower Festival Commemoration". All fresh flowers were presented as a souvenir. I read the confession I made before reading the sutra at the puja. Full text introduction Flower Festival Puja Confession Humble and respectful, I speak to the compassionate and vast Jizo Bodhisattva and Shakyamuni Buddha. Today, we are here to welcome the peak of spring flowers. Together with everyone at Toba City Aozora Nursery School, I would like to celebrate the birth of Buddha. If you look at it, long before he left the present, Buddha was born in the flower garden of Lumbini. (Suga's original text is Sugawara Fumitoki) is "who(Sauce)Water(Water)Without a heart, it is a dense glossy presence(It's a joen.)Meba wave color(Namiiro)I will not change." Just as even mindless water changes its color when the shadow of a flower is reflected, the noble birth of Buddha completely changes the scenery of this world, pouring rain of nectar from heaven, the joy that boils from the earth warmly envelops all living things, and dyes the heart in the depths of confusion with the color of compassion. The Buddha pointed and showed the teachings of "Heaven and Heaven and Heaven are the only one" and "Everyone's precious life". Hopefully, those who will gather at this Kannon Temple. Receiving this beautiful spring scene and the Buddha's loving gaze, reflecting the color of compassion in his pure heart, he walks the right path of self-interest and altruism, as beautiful as a flower, as healthy as bamboo, and as flexible as a willow. I bow down and beg. I will shine the light of mercy everywhere and watch over the healthy growth of the kindergarten children April 8, Reiwa 8th year Taieji Temple training head Kenji Hoshino I respectfully confess here. By the way, the Chunichi Shimbun and Toba City Public Relations came to the interview. I think both will be articles in April. Toba City is scheduled to be released on Instagram. Please look for it. Also, Saturday, April 18th will be the Kannonji Spring Festival. Please come if you like. For inquiries, please contact Taieji Temple. Japan's first red seal ~ By Taieji Temple, the origin of the couple rock belief ~ Report on the Ise washi sutra copying and stamping experience session April 4

Japan's first red seal ~ By Taieji Temple, the origin of the couple rock belief ~ Report on the Ise washi sutra copying and stamping experience meeting April 4, Reiwa 8 Ise, Okage Yokocho Where the red stamp is in your hand This is the first time in Japan that I have made a red stamp. ~By Taieji Temple, the origin of the couple's rock faith~ We held an Ise washi sutra copying and stamping experience meeting on April 4 at Mie Ise, Okage Yokocho. Many participants came. It was realized through a collaboration between Ise Washi, Taieji Temple, and Okage Yokocho. Participants who are copying the Ten Verses of the Kannon Sutra 2 President Nakakita of Ise Washi jumped in and participated. Participants who are copying red stamps Ise washi donated by President Nakakita of Ise Washi Ise Washi sales corner As a reaction of everyone, I think it was the award of the red stamp, then the person who only copied the sutra, then the sutra and the sutra, and then the sutra copying only. Ise washi sutra copying and stamping experience Participant interview 1. Local female participant "I was surprised that the feel of the Ise washi paper itself was much warmer than I had imagine......d. I usually use my computer only for work, so I felt that the time I spent facing myself in such a quiet space one by one was the most luxurious. I would like to take the completed red stamp home and display it in my room." 2. Participants from Tokyo (those who like temple tours) "It was my first experience with copying red stamps, but I have a different sense of accomplishment than just copying sutras. I feel like I was able to learn the history and culture of Ise through my fingertips. It was a very meaningful moment that allowed me to concentrate and be distracted." 3. Young female participant (participating with a friend) "I participated with a friend, and at first I thought, 'It looks difficult,' but the staff taught me carefully, and the texture of the washi paper was gentle, so I felt that the letters I wrote looked more beautiful than usual (laughs). As a memory of my visit to Ise, I am most happy that I was able to make something that will remain in shape. I wanted to try a different type of washi paper as well." It was planned by Kenji Hoshino, the head of Taieji Temple, and was realized with everyone's cooperation. Corner users, including the awarding of red seals, stopped by less than 100 people. I think that the red stamp will let you know the history of the temple, and although it is easier than copying sutras, it will be an active opportunity for you to know Buddhism along with the history of the area. By all means, please try to get a red stamp from your own idea and position. I think it was an opportunity for everyone to make new discoveries, new encounters, and smiles. Nara Todaiji Temple, the secret story of the construction of the Great Buddha and the water retrieval (through the memory story of the late Director Saruwatari, who is the master of the monk Kenji Hoshino, 5)

The secret story of the construction of the Great Buddha at Todaiji Temple in Nara and the water taking (through the memoirs of the late Director Saruwatari, who is the master of the official monk Kenji Hoshino5) The Great Buddha Hall of Todaiji Temple Todaiji Temple 1 2 3 The late Director Saruwatari (his thoughts) In order to establish the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, there were craftsmen in Wakasa and Hokuriku who had the skills to mine bronze and melt bronze into molds. They were called to build the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple and became poisoned by mercury by applying heat to mercury to make gold and bronze Buddhas. Because it is like Minamata disease today, it was given to those who were suffering, unable to stand on their feet, and unable to return to their hometowns as water from Matsuba (terminal), and told them that it was water from Wakasa. He said that he drank water in hopes of God's protection and Buddha's mercy. [I am the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, the Buddha of Lushana.(It is also called Vilujana Buddha, and in esoteric Buddhism it is the same as Dainichi Tathagata)I think that the offerings of many people who sacrificed themselves when building the water collection event is the origin of the water collection event. Many people who built the Great Buddha are wearing mushy bronze and dying from heat and pain from poisoning from mercury. It is thought that people felt the heat and pain of the dead by bathing in the sparks of the torches, and that they made requiem offerings in memory of the deceased. (I was saying that you should feel it too.) At memorial services such as the anniversary of one's ancestors, it was said that the best memorial service is to remember the deceased. There is the shame of the unrelated Buddha who died as a victim of national events such as the Great Buddha Hall. I think that the ritual of offering water to Kannon was already popular at the time of the construction of the Great Buddha, and that by offering water to Kannon, Kannon would take the place of Kannon for the pain and suffering of the dead. It is said that the water fetching of the February Hall is also to worship the Great Buddha in memory of those who sacrificed and died with an honest heart. This is because the practice of lighting a fire and taking water with water is because the power of God is seen there, as if it were written as "fire and water." It can be said that the event of Mizutori is also an event to pray to the gods to protect the nation of the world, heal people's diseases, and save from hunger. As His Majesty said, while remembering the people who died in the construction of the Great Buddha, I was able to see a part of the line of water removal this time. According to the president, according to old literature, the New Year's Eve bell on New Year's Day is called young water when it is pumped from the well, and the water drawn at the beginning of the new year is considered to be the water that excludes evil spirits for the year. It is said that people in the past received Wakasa water, drew their bodies with water, cleansed their stomachs, and received the first water of the new year with the auspiciousness of welcoming a new year and making a new start. By the way, Taieji Temple entrusted the role of collecting construction costs from Emperor Shomu, who made a vow to build the Great Buddha in Nara, to the monks, and after traveling around the country, he entered the country of Ise and visited Ise Shrine, and then prayed to the Kodama Shrine in front of the current Couple Rock. At this time, the dragon god(The dragon is said to be in the place of water)With God and Buddha(Ryujin played the role of carrying. Role of the vehicle)climbed Mt. Otonashi(In other words, it might be better to say that it was lowered to Mt. Otonashi. Ryujin carried it for me. Present-day Taigang Temple)gods and Buddha(The god of Kodama, Amaterasu, and the thousand-handed Kannon)It is said that the festival was the beginning of Taieji Temple. It is a temple founded by Gyoki about 1300 years ago. I would like to introduce that Gyoki's temple was built in Todaiji Temple. Gyogido 1 2 3 Another secret story will be on another occasion. 合sho 大慈大不 官 星野 kenji Language This page has been translated automatically. Please note that it may differ from the original content.

Nara Todaiji Temple, water and Wakasa water and travel (through the memory story of the late President Saruwatari, who is the master of the monk Kenji Hoshino4)

Nara Todaiji Temple, Water Retrieval and Wakasa's Water and Journey (Through the Memories of the Late President Saruwatari, the master of the monk Kenji Hoshino4) Todaiji Temple Nitsudo in the Ming Dynasty where the Shujikai is being held March 12, 2026 I went to see the water fetching at Todaiji Temple in Nara. I would like to write the continuation of 3 through the memory story of the late President Saruwatari. I would like to start with the story of when I went on a trip to Wakasa. In search of Kannon, as one of the parades to Fukui, it seems that he went to find a place where water was supposed to be sent to Nara. In front of the Todaiji Nitsuji Hall, water pumped from a well called Wakasa Well, commonly known as Wakasai, is offered to the main deity of the Nitsuji Hall, the eleven-faced Kannon. (It is said that drinking this perfume will cure the disease.) This Wakasa well is connected to a place in Wakasa in Fukui Prefecture, and it is said that water comes from there. The Toshiki River flowing through Fukui City(Onyugawa)Jinguji Temple (a temple of confusion between Shinto and Buddha) is located along the side. This temple is known as the "Temple of Water Delivery". Founded in 714. It seems to be 38 years before the opening of the Great Buddha at Todaiji Temple. Every year on March 2nd, the water pumped from the Kanga well in the precincts of this Jinguji Temple is transported to the riverbed upstream of the Enshiki River, and the water is sent from there. It is said that this riverbed is "Unose Unase". At the climax of the festival, when the disciple got out of the car and was looking for a parking lot to stand in the place where the chief priest of Jinguji Temple stands (across the river), an old man appeared from somewhere and said, "Which one are you from??I was asked. "I came from Kyushu to investigate the water delivery." When I was told about it, I was guided to a place where the water delivery museum explained the event of the water delivery through a bridge type and video. The old man pointed to the other side of the river where he first stopped the car, saying, "I'm going to send water from the top of the rock over there." On the day of the event, they built a temporary building and crossed from the riverbank to the rocky area. "Actually, I'm sorry, but I think I'll go there," he said and showed me the place. It is originally a barrier and cannot be entered. "I'm going to send water from the top of that flat rock, and you should stand there." The late President Saruwatari said and the explanation continued. He explained, "There is a cave under a large rock jutting out into the river at the end of it, and the hole leads to Nara, and if you send water, it will arrive in ten days." The old man is the founder of Todaiji Temple (Roben Yoshiben Monk is the founder of the water collection event)Disciple of(Sanitada, Jicchu, Indian monk) Sanitada enshrined the eleven-faced Kannon in the Todaiji Nitsuji Nitsudo Hall and said, "I read out the names of the gods all over Japan and prayed for the protection of the gods, but Wakasa's Toshiki Myojin forgot the time for fishing and was late. This old man said, "I am called every year to take water from Todaiji Temple. It means that he is a descendant of Yoshiben. Yoshiben's birth is a mystery, and there is a legend that he was exposed to a large eagle when he was a baby. There was a strange encounter by chance. At Jinguji Temple (water sending ceremony), from the evening of March 2nd, Tatsuda torches are lit in the main hall(It was a torch festival)is lit, and there is a ritual of running around the inner shrine in front of the main statue three times. After that, the palanquin(Basket)It is said that the torch is lit and the procession of fire continues to Unase. In this way, the water is sent to Nara. The place name of Wakasa is said to be Wakaso in Korean, and it seems that the meaning is "to come and go". Also, enshiki seems to mean "to do it far away". I would like to talk about the secret story of the construction of the Great Buddha in Nara Todaiji Temple and the story of water fetching next time. Please look forward to it. 合sho 大慈大不 官 星野 kenzhi Language This page has been translated automatically. Please note that it may differ from the original content.

I went to see the water collection at Todaiji Temple in Nara. (Through the memories of the late President Saruwatari, who is the teacher of the role monk Kenji Hoshino 3) I went to see the water fetch at Todaiji Temple on March 12, 2026. I would like to recall the story of my master and monk, the late Chief Saruwatari, and write about the water fetching at Todaiji Temple. "Shujikai Shunie" is a puja held at the temple at the beginning of the second lunar month, and Todaiji Temple is commonly known. It is now held until the early morning and early morning of March 1st ~ 15th in the new calendar. As for the outline of the schedule, it seems that the torches will go up every day during the period. In addition, it seems that the water removal will be held at midnight on March 12th. I couldn't participate in all of the "Tatsuta no Ritual Ceremony" in one part, but I was able to see it from the outer shrine. I couldn't make a detailed schedule because I had a lot to do, but I was overwhelmed with emotion to be able to participate in the perfume distribution.(As a disciple who has admired the president since I was a child and has followed him, I once again thought that I would like to follow the president as a religious person and devote myself to doing so for the sake of gratitude and everyone's happiness in the future.) The puja in front of the main deity of Todaiji Nitsuji Hall, the eleven-faced Kannon Bodhisattva, is generally called "water catching". Torch of the road when everyone goes to the hall Torch from the February Hall Torch from the February Hall It is a story of the Heisei era, but it seems that the late President Saruwatari was invited to the "Shujikai" by the director of Todaiji Temple through the mediation of a close person. I heard that I was guided to a room where the president class of the six major temples in Nara can enter, and I will write a little story about seeing the line of water up close. It is said that they were invited to the "special inner shrine" (surrounded by a door) and were able to come into contact with the practice of "Tatsuta's ceremony", and the ceremony of Tatsuta is to wield a large torch in the inner shrine of the 11 selected monks of Todaiji Temple dressed as the fire god (god of fire), and then the torch is protruded in the auditorium, and the reingoers dressed as the god of water (water god) sprinkle perfume (water offered to the Buddha). Then, in the middle of the night, perfume is given to visitors. Those who cannot enter the hall will reach inside from the lattice and receive water. It is said that wearing this perfume in your mouth or applying it to your face will make you healthier. At night, when the procession goes to the hall, the torch is the light, and it is said that the torch is extinguished after being waved downwards while moving around the stage. On the last day, it is said that it is spectacular that 10 torches are waved at the same time. It is said that bathing in the sparks of a torch does not cause a cold, and it is considered a disease-free event for the year. On the night of the 12th, the basket torch (in short, it is about 2 rooms long and has a bundle of cedar attached to the top of the bamboo tree), which is said to be the climax. A place where the people who practice perfume to offer to the eleven-faced Kannon go to Wakasa well to fetch it. A place where people go to offer perfume pumped up from the February Hall. 1 2 3 Akaiya Commonly known as Wakasa Well At midnight on the 12th, the ritual of purification and purification was performed, and the disciples of Todaiji Temple, who had purified themselves, pumped water from the "Wakasa Well, Wakasai" in front of the February Hall and offered it to the main deity, the eleven-faced Kannon, and prayed for the prosperity of the nation and the happiness of the people. It seems that it will continue to be 1275 times in 2026. I would like to talk about Wakasa's water and travel next time. Please look forward to it. 合sho 大慈大不 官 星野 kenji Language This page has been translated automatically. Please note that it may differ from the original content.

It was less than 100 days until the Ise Maemine Senkataki and Daiman trips. Report (Through the memories of the late President Saruwatari, who is the master of the monk Kenji Hoshino2) Around the full moon 1 Around the full moon 2 (During the Sennichi Taki tour) The Taki tour that is currently underway is less than 100 days, and I would like to tighten my mind and steadily move forward step by step. My monk's name "Kenji" was given to me by President Saruwatari when I was in elementary school. As the saying goes, the name represents the body, and I would like to continue to work hard towards the end of my life.(Can it be said that being in a temple, which is also a religious corporation, has value without improving religious ability? That's why I sometimes think. Such a perception has been forgotten by many people. In other words, there are times when I think that it is not recognized as a religious facility or religious person. I think it is both a good and a bad thing about modern Japan.)

… Read More
